GND records linked to DNB publications through ORCID iDs

Metadata of online publications are now delivered in large numbers with ORCID iDs. In more than 600,000 publications, a standard number (predominantly ORCID iDs and a few ISNI IDs) is specified for at least one person involved, and more than 800 publications are now added daily (around 25,000 per month). Since May 2020, these ORCID iDs are compared daily with the ORCID iDs in GND person records, taking name variants into account, and linked if necessary. The chart shows the monthly statistics of these machine links and the import after initial matching in April 2020.
